Personalized Yoga

Most people who do yoga do the teacher's yoga. A sequence someone else designed, for a room full of different bodies, at a pace that leaves behind anyone who is older, less flexible, or new to yoga. For some people, that works. For many, it doesn't.

Personalized yoga starts with knowing your body.

For clients I've worked with through Thai massage, I already have a detailed understanding of where your body holds tension, where it compensates, and where it needs space. That knowledge becomes the foundation for a programme built specifically for you. Often, just 15 minutes a day done consistently creates more change than an hour of movement that doesn't fit.

How It Works

We work in a biweekly rhythm. Every two weeks you send me a video of your practice so I can see how your body is responding and refine the sequence. We also have a live 60-minute session every two weeks over Zoom — interactive, real time, adaptive. Sessions are $120 USD and include the video analysis and the live session.

These sessions are not just physical exercise. Yoga in its truest sense is about breath, attention, and creating awareness of the mind. Over time you develop a deep understanding of your own body and of what yoga is actually for.

Who This Is For

People who feel stiff or out of place in group classes. People recovering from injury or working towards specific physical goals like improved mobility. And anyone who has realized that generic yoga — however well-intentioned — isn't addressing what their body specifically needs. Because I know your body from our Thai massage work together, 15 minutes of the right practice will do more than an hour of generic yoga.
